Our colleague and CCCL Fellow, Doug Stollery, has been awarded the Alberta Order of Excellence, the province’s highest honour, in recognition of his exceptional service and achievements.

Created in 1979, the Alberta Order of Excellence is part of the Canadian Honours System which celebrates individuals whose dedication and innovation have shaped Alberta’s identity and strengthened its future and recognizes Albertans who have made transformative contributions to the province.

The investiture ceremony will take place in Edmonton this October.
